I came across these babies—ARD, BUCY and NOV.
Looking at the numbers, I feel they have potential to be good investments. However, I haven’t analyzed them deeper to peg a fair price or to buy them, yet.
These 3 stocks are all in the Energy sector (Oil is what they all have in common). However, this isn’t why I’m jazzed by them, I’m more excited about the other things they share, such as:
- Their 3-year Revenue Growth Rates > 40 %
- Their 5-year Forecasted Earnings Growth > 30 %
- Their 3-month Return > 20 %
Here’s how they’ve performed in comparison to S&P over the past 5 years. The columns are the % returns for the timeframe.
| Stock | YTD | 1-month | 3-month | 1-year | 3-year | 5-year |
| ARD | 23.86 | 2.16 | 33.14 | 80.41 | 104.11 | 78.82 |
| BUCY | 49.07 | 12.36 | 44.69 | 108.47 | 83.78 | – |
| NOV | 20.35 | 9.64 | 56.48 | 68.24 | 54.98 | 51.69 |
| S&P | -12.94 | -7.72 | -3.57 | -15.13 | 2.40 | 5.54 |
This is how these stocks are performing right now
Definitely worth a watch. I’ll keep you posted …
